Firm Profile

Elskop Scholz, a Manhattan based architecture and design firm, creates residential and commercial environments with close attention to project requirements and a synthetic interpretation of the history, geography and culture of the site.
Inés Elskop and Christopher Scholz have worked together for the past ten years on a variety of architectural project types. Their preference for active relationships with their clients have created opportunities for innovation and individualized design. Thorough programming, attention to detail, and careful follow-through during construction have produced successful and elegant spaces.
Christopher Scholz is a graduate of Columbia University's Master of Architecture program. His experience includes design and supervision of residential and commercial projects as well as planning for land development. He has designed award winning furniture, is registered as an inventor at the US Patent office, and has lectured and taught at various design schools.
Inés Elskop Associate AIA, has lived and worked throughout the world. She holds degrees in Asian studies and economics and has pursued graduate studies in architecture at Princeton University. She has been a visiting lecturer at various institutions. Her broad experience is reflected in a method which combines a varied stylistic spectrum, meticulous attention to detail and a keen affinity for material and color.
The diverse talents and experience which each brings to this award winning firm make them and effective and unique design team.
