Switch Building

nARCHITECTS, PLLC, is an architecture office founded in New York City by Principals Eric Bunge and Mimi Hoang in 1999. The work of the office encompasses architecture, urban design, and interiors, with a goal of uniting strategic thinking, environmental and social commitment, and technical innovation.

Current work in the office includes a number of buildings and public design projects at a variety of scales, including: Pierscape, the redesign of the historic 3,000-foot-long Chicago Navy Pier, a competition won with James Corner Field Operations; the competition-winning My Micro New York, New York City’s first micro-unit apartment building and Manhattan’s second modular building; and the Wyckoff House Museum in Brooklyn.  Construction on Navy Pier Phase I is nearing completion and My Micro NY is set to complete in Fall 2015.  A largescale renovation for the NYC Department of Transportation is also under construction. On the boards we have The Butterfly Building, a guest services building in Columbia, Maryland featuring two restaurants, an art gallery, and an event space for Merriweather Park Masterplan.  We are also designing a cafe for Cleveland Public Square and multiple comfort stations for NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. In 2012, nARCHITECTS completed construction of the 500,000sf ABC Dbayeh Department Store in Beirut, which included a new laser-cut aluminum façade that transformed the exterior into an urban landmark
