Philosophy

WXY’s collaborative approach brings together in-depth responses to all aspects of program, site and technical requirements. Our research leads to inventive solutions, creating objects and spaces that enrich our clients’ experiences of the places they inhabit. We emphasize sustainability at all scales, seeking the optimal environment, in which architecture and civic infrastructure relate to the intimacy of individuals and to the grander presence of the urban landscape.

The firm is noted for its focus on community and sustainable planning, incorporating new technologies and green design. Our studies of new materials and digitally driven production inform our search for unique structural and spatial resolutions to every aspect of design vocabulary. Our effective process involves gathering the right team to understand and meet the needs of multiple clients and stakeholders. Our expertise in coordinating and solving complex design problems has been critical to our successful re-imagining of the quiet streets and dramatic new public spaces of cities.
