This 65,500-square-metre mixed-use project will reinvigorate urban life in Boston's lively Sea-port district, attracting more visitors to the waterfront. Located on the historic Common-wealth Pier, this extensive development is an adaptive transformation project that will present new ways of discovering and engaging with the waterfront. The development will add a public plaza, event, and meeting spaces, an improved Harborwalk, and flexible workspaces to the area. The design cherishes the site's historical integrity while introducing new materials, in-creasing daylight, and providing new connectivity points.

The site consists of a grand waterfront plaza, walkways, green spaces, courtyards, and enhanced outdoor spaces and public amenities. The plaza is envisioned as a central gathering point and will provide flexible outdoor space for year-round activities. The refurbishment project, targeting LEED Gold Certification, integrates advanced design strategies for resilience and sustainability to ensure the pier's continued enjoyment for future generations. The construction of Commonwealth Pier is expected to be completed in 2024.
