The New York Velodrome is a 3,000 seat, 110,000 square foot multi-use indoor facility located within the city of New York.  The client, VoNYC Inc., is a privately funded, non-profit organization whose goals include bringing track cycling back to New York City and creating a community center to serve the public through youth programs, sporting events, health-related seminars, and community-oriented civic events.

The 22,000 square foot multi-use infield of the track will support any number of events including basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, wrestling, concerts, movies, and conferences.  Additional programming includes retail space, a café, a multi-use community room, exhibition space, public art, offices, lockers, and pre-function space.  The 200-meter track will be UCI certified and support regional, national, and international competitions along with developmental programs for the next generation of Olympians.  VoNYC Inc. is committed to the health and well being of New Yorkers. As such, the project was planned for LEED GOLD certification.
