The new headquarters of Benetton

At the beginning of March 2014, after no more than a good 2 months of construction time, Benetton Germany's new office opened in Frankfurt's town centre. The headquarters which until recently were still split between two different locations, have now been combined in approx. 650 m² in the award-winning MA business complex*, the former diamond exchange. The challenge this time for Jazzunique in designing this office lay in bringing together a wide variety of departments on one floor and creating the order area for customers. The result is an interplay between individual departments and a consistent overall appearance. The new offices are representative and functional at the same in their multi-colored diversity, reflecting the look of the Italian brand. As befits Benetton, color is the determining element in the design of the offices! The individual departments are marked by different color codes, and the various teams differentiated by corresponding nuances within their color code. As well as a ceiling fitting made of green and white glazed wood and lighting elements which leads through the individual departments of the office, and the lobby with its expansive collage of color, images and elements from Benetton's history, all the shelving and paneling were made to measure for the new office and stand for quality and sustainability, as does Benetton's corporate philosophy. While the lobby reflects the fashion character of the brand with a large video wall with current campaigns, fashion shows and images from shop windows, the Italian roots of the label can be detected in the canteen: the long, solid wooden table is reminiscent of a typical dining table in Toscana and creates a warm, family atmosphere among colleagues. The roof patio with its skyline views is openly accessible for all employees from the canteen. Working in the closest of collaborations with Benetton and Fabrica, Jazzunique was responsible for location scouting, the organizational planning of individual departments, concept & design of the implementation planning and construction supervision for the entire project. Jazzunique's interior designers created a working environment which unites sophisticated design, quality and a creative office concept which reflect the brand.
