A partner at SPG Architects since 1993, Eric first began working with the firm in 1989. Since that time Eric has produced an impressive body of work; initially with residential, retail, and commercial interiors; and more recently with a series of free standing houses in the US and abroad. He received both his BS in architecture and his MArch degrees from the University of Virginia. Over the course of his professional career, he has served as a visiting critic at numerous schools of architecture. His on-going interest in the benefits of environmental and social sustainability has led to a series of projects that explore the benefits of sustainable design. Recently completed projects include houses in CT, NC, NY, Costa Rica, a recording studio in Brooklyn and a mixed-use building in NYC. His current projects include a prototype for an alternative solution to typical freestanding houses, located in Sherman, CT, and a community center in rural Rwanda that includes healthcare, educational, and eco-tourist facilities done in association with the not-for-profit organization Kageno Worldwide. Eric is a registered architect in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina and is a LEED Accredited Professional +.

Coty N. Sidnam

Coty has been practicing architecture as a principal in her own firm since 1980. With a practice that was at first characterized exclusively by residential work, it has expanded to include a full range of project types. Her interest in conservation and health-related issues has led the firm to undertake a number of both paid and pro bono architectural projects in these areas and has guided her extracurricular activities. She is a trustee of the Wildlife Conservation Society, co-chair of the Global Health Sciences subcommittee, a trustee of the Mayday Fund (a medical foundation), and a longtime supporter of the Natural Resources Defense Council. Coty did her undergraduate studies at Kenyon College and Sarah Lawrence College and received her architecture degree from The Cooper Union in New York City. Her current projects include a dramatic new house on the Fire Island seashore, the relocation and complete renovation of a house on Cape Cod, and a downtown Manhattan Penthouse renovation. Coty is a registered architect in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Idaho, Colorado, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
