CAPSLO Homeless Services Center

CAPSLO Homeless Services Center (HSC) will provide comprehensive services for the at-risk and homeless population throughout San Luis Obispo County. The facility is comprised of a two-story building featuring beds, spacious multi-use room, laundry facilities, showers, a multi-purpose area, a library, computers, and offices for case workers and staff. The building will accommodate medical exam rooms, mental health facilities, a large dining room and a commercial kitchen. The design scheme provides a graceful façade to the community as well as privacy for the residents. With the goal of reaching a LEED “Silver” classification, energy efficiency is maximized through passive design strategies, high-efficiency mechanical and water conveying systems, and photovoltaic and grey water systems.
